Back Home after 40 years in the wilderness---the south of England to be precise. By the wildernessI mean the lack of suitable rivers.I've had to rely on Man made ponds and resevoirs stocked with fat trout the size of little boys not good to eat.
Now I'm in Mid Argyl and patiently waiting for the new season starting in March--- I'm going to join for the first time ever a Club so that I can take advantage of various waters available to members only.I am told there could be an early run of sea trout in the lochs and one river. Will keep you posted.
Meantime going to try my hand at sea fishing rather sea loch fishing--over the winter. As we jhave the benefit of the Gulf Stream winters are not so cold as in some parts away from the coast.
Watch this space,
Cheers Ian
